Our Story

Paws and Smile Foundation is a community-driven NGO dedicated to the dignity, safety, and wellbeing of India’s street animals—while supporting the children and families who care for them. We rescue injured animals, run feeding and vaccination drives, facilitate adoptions, and deliver humane education in schools and underserved neighborhoods. Our model is simple: compassion scales when people have the knowledge, tools, and support to act. From late-night rescues and emergency vet transport to spay–neuter programs and awareness workshops, our teams meet animals where they are and involve local guardians in every step. By partnering with volunteers, veterinary professionals, and municipal bodies, we reduce suffering, prevent the spread of disease, and build kinder streets where people and animals thrive together. Every rupee you donate fuels medicine, meals, and on-the-ground action—turning everyday kindness into lasting change.

We operate with transparency and community ownership. Our programs prioritize spay–neuter (ABC), preventive care, and positive human–animal relationships. We also train volunteers in first aid and ethical rescue practices.
